'Toby Baker: Retro Keys' is a collection of loops and samples encorporating
some beautiful recordings of real retro machines, including a Wurlitzer,
Hammond, Jupiter 8, Moog Minimoog and Clavinet. The sounds are organised into
multiple Construction Kits containing solid synth and bass guitar lines,
smooth chord progressions, warm analogue pads and timeless synth leads.
Toby Baker has played keys for some of the biggest names in music, including
Eric Clapton, BB King, Lulu, Sinead O' Connor, Shola Ama, Will Young, Heather
Small, Elton John, Skunk Anansie, and many more.
The loops and samples are organised for ultimate flexibility and ease-of-use.
The main sample pack is divided into four tempo categories of 90 BPM, 110 BPM,
120 BPM and 130 BPM. Each category contains 16 Construction Kits, which in
turn contains 4, 5 and 8 bar loop stems and a full mix of the entire groove.
No expense has been spared here, only the finest analogue gear, tube pre-amps
and high-end convertors have been used to create a beautifully warm, natural
collection of loops and samples.
Styles range from blissed Chillout grooves and Leftfield chord progressions
to upfront retro Funk and Deep House vibes.
The sample pack has been designed to work with many modern genres that have
seen a surge in retro styles coming around again, such as Deep House and Disco,
soulful RnB and Disco-infused Pop music
